Our trip starts at 4:30 am towards the village of Mollepata where we will have our breakfast buffet. Then we continue to Challacancha. During the trip, we can admire the Humantay glacier in the Vilcabamba Cordillera. We arrive at Soraypampa where we rest a few moments before continuing our journey to the starting point of our walk that will last about 2 hours (7 km) before arriving at the Laguna de Humantay (3900msnm to 4200msnm) . We will be able to appreciate the glacier of Salkantay. Then we return to our camp (1 hour) for our lunch break before we go to Soraypampa and continue our journey to Cusco. Arrive at our hotel around 18:30.

Can I book the tour for the second day of my arrival in Cusco?
It is 3 hours of walking and climb to a height of 4200 meters so to enjoy this hike, we recommend doing the tour after at least 3 days acclimatization to the altitude.
